Black Fox is a comfortable, cozy cabin close enough to the rushing Roaring Branch River that when you sit on the expanded porch you can’t miss its soothing sounds. The oversized porch features an historic swing for two, chairs, and two picnic tables, one with overhead lighting to allow evening use. Grill outside with a gas or charcoal grill. The interior is comfortably furnished, with the beds and walls adorned with quilts. The cabin sleeps six with two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with twin beds, and two single pull-out Love Seat style beds in the loft area. Children will enjoy the Fairy Garden outside and imagine making items to give to the fairies.

About the Owner

John and Cindy and their family have been enjoying Roaring Branch since the 1960s “Roaring Branch Camp” days, and stayed in most of the prior rustic cabins during their annual stays. They built Black Fox in 2001 and have created a comfortable, homey log cabin atmosphere for ourselves and renters.

Eighty-five percent (85.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
